Transfer Factor And A Healthy Immune System

The immune system is in the news. It is what the transfer factor is all about. If we humans could improve our immune system then we would be less susceptible to illness and disease. The transfer factor is one way people are trying to improve their immunity system.

However, we have to realize that no matter the efficacy of a supplement, people will not eliminate disease and illness merely by taking a pill. Like social security which was intended to supplement our retirement not be our retirement, diet supplements are only meant to help us be healthy not make us healthy.

No matter what supplement you take, you need to eat right and get proper sleep and get proper exercise. And unfortunately for some people if you have a family history of disease and illnesses then you are having the genes for that and no supplement is going to prevent that condition.

But there is so much for you to do to stay healthy besides taking supplements. When you go to the supermarket take a good look at what is sold and then read about the increases in cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. You will see chips, cookies, soda pop, frozen foods with all sorts of preservatives. You will see beer and alcohol and tobacco. You will see the ingredients for illness and disease on sale all day everyday in your local supermarket.

Do not forget all the fast food places you drove by on your way to the supermarket. Want to super size it? Super burgers, fries, sodas, and deep fried cherry pies are at your finger tips. And you do not have to leave your car. Use the drive through. Why get out of your car and walk? You need to exercise. Do not have the time you say. All you need is twenty to thirty minutes a day.

Do you know that more people cause accidents on the road because they fall asleep at the wheel than do drunk drivers? As a society we do not get enough sleep it is that simple. Our bodies need seven to eight hours of sleep because this is when the body repairs itself.

No supplement is going to cure your life of sleep of deprivation. Your body needs sleep. This is the time it repairs itself from sixteen hours of straight activity. Your immune system is like a fort. It is made up of strong walls.

Our immunity system is like a fort, it is the walls built that stands up against illness and disease. When we eat bad food, do not sleep seven to eight hours per night, or get the right amount of exercise, our walls start to break down. Illness and disease find their way into our systems through our broken down walls. Once in they start breaking down more of our walls from within our system. And then it is too late. More disease and illness comes in against our undefended body. Transfer factor is one of many supplements you can take for your immune system.
